Protection
[Day 10 Soul Card journey with Elizabeth Crawford at Soul's Music

Traveler
makes her way
as if she,
alone,
is determining
her journey.
Yet,
all the while,
she is being
guided and
protected.
Often,
she recognizes
she is being led,
supported,
assisted
by a force
much greater
than herself.
Often,
she realizes
she is walking
through
a landscape
much bigger than
the landscape
that we see.

How true! We are never alone in this world.
ReplyDeleteI love this and think most of can at some point in time relate~ The journey of self is woven with many paths n' detours~ Lovely sentiment~
ReplyDeleteOh Sherry, love it, again. You weave well my friend. I left both comments up, and thanks for taking the time to make them.

Either that, or we're their sea monkeys to mess with. I don't feel protected or guided. But it's sweet if you do.
ReplyDeleteThanks, friends, and Fireblossom, I got a cackle out of your sea monkey comment, SO Fireblossom!
ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting series of prompts, Sherry. I'm enjoying watching your journey with them unfold.
ReplyDeleteThere is definitley an element of mystery in our journey, isn't there, Sherry? I enjoy knowing surprises are part of the package, though of course I hope for more good ones than bad...:)
