Sky Travelers

We are so driven,
with our eyes closed,
brains on auto-pilot,
blindly trying
to Get More
when there will
never be
Enough -
until we
bemused and drifting,
Sky Travelers,
gently coasting upon
the currents
of each day
so filled with gifts -
such precious moments
of complete perfection,
each one a jewel
the universe
our way.

  1. Sherry this is so beautiful...i always feel like clouds are such a wonder to look at...they are a gift the universe sends our way.

  2. Somehow your post remind me of chapter 102 of Al-Quran which have 7 sentences.

1-Your craze for more and more and mutual rivalry for worldly gains has made you heedless,
    2-until you reach the graves.
3-By no means! Soon you shall know!
4-Again (note it well) by no means! Soon you shall know.
5-Nay! Had you known with certainty of knowledge (the end of this way of life you would never have acted thus).
6-You shall certainly see Hell. Again (note it well that) you shall most certainly see it.
7-Then, on that Day, you shall certainly be called to account for the blessings and comforts of life.

Have a good day, take care..
    Thank you for reminding me..

  3. Thank you for your comments. Carrie, I do look at the sky with wonder - such an ever-changing canvas, painted so many different ways every time you look:)
Wan Sharif, thank you for the quotation. I often think about what one must realize, at the end of one's life, when our lives pass before us. Thank you for visiting, and commenting:)

  4. However flawed our world may be, there are indeed moments of perfection and joy to be found in every day, if we just remember to look for them.
    Thanks for that reminder...:)

I so appreciate you taking the time to read and comment.
Thank you so much. I will be over to see you soon!
