Sherry, A lovely post and the pictures are beautiful. But my goodness it must be freezing cold. I haven't lived through a winter in so long. About 20 years and now I am a wimp. Pamela
Thanks for stopping by. I was grateful that these lines simply popped into my head this morning, all by themselves. I dont usually write short poems, and it has been a while since words arrived on their own, without some labor-intensive effort on my part:)
Sherry, that is just beautiful, putting on today like a prayer shawl... I love it! The pics are gorgeous, they remind me of the old kind of Christmas cards (at least where I come from), scenes of snow and home.
I love how you wear the day, a lesson for all of us. Do you really have prayer beads? I wear beads - each is for a memorized song, quote, or scripture.
I use "a Quaker Rosary" daily which is 4 "strands" of 10 beads each (more or less): 1) Please hold in the Light ... 2) Forgive and help me forgive ... 3) I cannot do alone ... 4) I am grateful for ...
So beautiful, Sherry. Even more so because of the simplicity of the words. I love the photos and peace that the scene brings. I really like the whole idea of prayer shawls. What a comfortable sounding thing.
