Wolf Spirit, your call
from your misty mountain lair
sends my soul keening
***
footprints in the sand
my heart follows where they lead
till I'm home again

bonsai in the bog
a little touch of Asia

I like this, Sherry. The "bonsai in the bog" got my attention. I am wondering if it was transplanted there or if it is a natural encroachment by Asia.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your Wolf mentions and themes. Thank you.

Jim, the bog has a wet topography which keeps the trees stunted and small, they look like bonsai but arent really. The place I am writing about has a small pond in it and you look down on it from above - it looks very Asian. Very beautiful. I will go there, one of these days and take more photos. It has been a long time since I was there, with a friend who has since died.
ReplyDeleteEach one is a delight, Sherry!
ReplyDeleteI love the sounds in the first one, Sherry, and footprints in the sand always grab my imagination.
