Today we took all the dogs to Taylor Arm
for their first swim
of the season.
It's a tranquil spot, especially
this early in the year.
I love the look
of these old trees.
Jasmine becomes obsessed with possessing whatever
kong, or stick, is being thrown.
I have to remind her she is a golden retriever,
not a golden receiver.
The tussle over the stick goes on
until Lukey gives up and lets go.
Lori and the dogs played tag
among the trees.
Then home for a much-needed rest.
awww adorable ... and lovely place. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww... so cute to fight over a stick when they have a forest full of them! LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely share ...made me smile.
Glad you and the dogs had such a good day!
ReplyDeletelooks like the sort of day worthy living.
ReplyDeleteSo cute, playing tugga with her brother, and even cuter napping afterwards!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful day, Sherry.
ReplyDeleteLindy is asleep behind me now, and I can look back and forth from Jasmine's photo to Lindy and the resemblance is indeed astonishing.
I'm looking forward to taking Lindy swimming. We have a river here, and although it looks pokey-slow by BC standards, it moves fast enough to give a lazy dog a good battle, so we'll have to find a lake.

Beautiful place, great photos, and a wonderful day that ends in a soft cuddly nap. Good stuff, my friend,

I envy you...the place looks lovely and it seems that everyone had a great time ~
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun. Jasmine obviously thought so too. And you had some time to play. That's awesome.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had fun with your "kids"... wish I could've seen that.
ReplyDeleteNow that's the way to spend a day!
ReplyDeleteThis is great, really like the picture, very beautiful country, and water and trees. Thanks for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteHa ha. So you had to do the reminding of Jasmine being a golden retriever, not a golden receiver? Love that.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sight..love the photos. I think we should have the freedom of your pets...to run for joy and not for fear.
