For the Poets United prompt: lemons
Life has been
so
extremely
so
extremely
generous
at bringing me
lemons,
(I've driven
a few of them;
I divorced
another),
(I've driven
a few of them;
I divorced
another),
that
I have
gotten
very darned good
at making
lemonade.
Practice makes perfect... :-)

ReplyDeletehmm..when are you inviting me to your house for drinking lemonade :) ?
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a child, I didn't like lemonade all that much, maybe because we made it from scratch and we would roll those lemons around for what seemed like forever to create the juice. Now, as an adult, it is one of my favorites. And I have to note, I've driven a few as well, and divorced another. We do have so much in common,

ReplyDeleteThis is too funny! Thanks for the life. I'm thinking about the lemons in my life now. LOL I hope everyone will be able to make lemonade from their abundance as you have. :)
