challenge to write something with a metaphysical bent.
Is it foolish
for humans to think
we can change the world?
No.
We already have
changed the world.
We just have no clue
how to change it back.
Amen sistah!
ReplyDeleteYou said it, Sherry!
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for a new world.
ReplyDelete100% true - all we need is a recipe! lol
ReplyDeleteOh yes indeed. Maybe the one on its way will look a whole lot different than it does today and, maybe the next humanity will have learned so much more about love and compassion being the only true way.
ReplyDeleteA lovely short, deeply thought provoking read.
And change it humanity has! I feel it is simple to begin the change, we need to return to the ways of old, to live in harmony with the earth, end the material and technical age, start to live with our hearts again. Although, having just written that I realise how the majority of humanity have forgotten what a heart/soul is.........
ReplyDeleteIt is the kindred spirits like us who raise the vibration of our Mother Earth, by living in our Light, we do, make an impact upon my Beloved Gaia.
That is the 64,000 dollar question. Great metaphysical poem.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely knew that this was a challenge you could handle. Well done.
ReplyDeleteStraight, clean and metaphysical. Who said one should beat about the bush to come up with a good answer? Beautifully written Sherry! <3
ReplyDeleteSo utterly true....love this Sherry!!!
ReplyDeleteI knew you would cut straight through to the heart, of the matter! So powerful...I wish we could change things~
ReplyDeleteOh, you are so wise, my friend. This is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteDeep ... knowing ... smile.
ReplyDeleteWe could ask the bankers for some, eh? :)
ReplyDeletesherry!
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right. Such profound simplicity here.
ReplyDeleteThe simple truth, elegantly told - love it!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on this ~
ReplyDeleteCan't argue with this, Sherry!
ReplyDeleteNo argument from me either. We change the world simply by being in it. Nice job!
