Critter Haiku




Two tentative big-eared deer tiptoe in the pasture,
a newborn brown baby calf, tall as my knee:
Spring sprinkles my world with love.

    Once witness a baby Colt being born. Wonderful sight to see!! I was amazed at how she at first lay on the moistened ground, stumbled to her legs, and a brief moment later running wild and free next to mama! Amazing sight I will never forget.
