Wild Woman Does the Hokey Pokey

"You put your left foot in,
you put your left foot out,
you put your left foot in
and you shake it all about
you do the hokey pokey
and you  turn yourself around,
-- that's what it's all about"

Kids, I havent been around much this week, as I have been at the hospital most days going through a series of medical hoops in preparation for surgery on Tuesday in Vancouver. My sister and I leave early this morning, and will be back home on Wednesday. Thursday might be my first foray into making it from bed to desk.

This week has been so exhausting, I told them "I am looking forward to the anaesthesia, so I can get some rest!" Cackle.

I am going  to have a tumor removed from my inner left ankle. The oncologist says he thinks it is benign, and I am trusting that the biopsy will prove him right.

The first few days will be spent figuring out how to function with one working leg. I am sure it will involve much Cackling! But once I am past that, I will be back online, trying once again to Catch Up. (Does anyone, ever?)

Thanks for your kind thoughts and wishes........and I will see you soon, lump-less and hopefully cancer-free.
