A Poem

A poem is like
a puppy
that comes up
wagging its tail.
It sniffs all around,
interested and happy,
deciding which way
it will go......
and then it grows.

    1. OMG - Pup as a "Puppy!"

whoot .... I'm falling over. Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous.

And yup, poetry is like puppies, or awake playful kittens, or little tigahs, or fish swimming in a bowl. But oh, I like this poem. And Pup.

      I swear, I'm swooning! 💖💕

  5. Pup is gorgeous, but nothing bears a cute cat purring at your side, after a stressful day. Wouldn't give up Squeak, Venus or Star for the world, Sherry. May his memories live forever with you.

  7. A delightful metaphor, Sherry. It so explains how some of mine have become such wolfhounds! :)

  8. Yes, dogs and poems love to play with you and give you so much pleasure. It is always good to write a poem now and then about one's own dogs in the past.

Very much follow the trend of thoughts persisting then!
