Fog wreathing the mountains,
Grandfather Cedar
poking his head
out of the gray,
old man's beard
trailing,
junkos twittering busily
at the feeder,
as two deer tiptoe
shyly
across the meadow......
"Just another day in Paradise!"
as we are fond of saying:
one more peaceful, misty,
unfolding
West Coast morning.
