Wild Woman Sighs

The Pleiades Star Cluster, from Astronomy News

They say we come from stars
are are made of
molecules
of stardust.

But have you ever seen stars
fighting across the heavens
over the differences and variations
in their shine?

There is an intelligence
in the cosmos
we seem to be
sadly lacking
on earth.

SKYBOUND

Our feet in the mud
our heads in the clouds
a mix of fears and dreams
instinct and blind groping
seeking
within
and without
an epiphany
which
simply
returns us
to the wholeness
with which
we started
out

We come from
atoms exploding
and colliding
-random or by design?
magic or miracle?
fate or Divine Plan?
starshine or angel dust?-
our inner truth
deeply residing
but ignored,
as if we have
an inner GPS
that we mistrust

We come here
part earth
part stardust
working so mightily
to move forward
to get somewhere
to do, to be, to strive
against
the mighty tide
upon which
we could
simply
ride

We forget
our souls
traveled here
through the galaxy
already knowing
the route

We forget
all the confluences
it took
to get us here
how many byways
and convolutions
our souls
had to
roam

we forget
that all our lives
as we are
journeying
we are
simply
returning
along
the pathway
Home.
