Baby Bella, Three Weeks Old

Hey, kids, Steph and Gord went to visit their new pup last night.

Her eyes have been open for two days now.

Love her little grumpy-face!

Like sleeping on a cloud. She likes fleece - my kinda gal!

So cute.

[Kids, I thought I had already posted this, but apparently not......first baby photos!]

It is hard to believe anything that is soon going to have her whole house topsy-turvy can start out being this small! Baby Bella is so adorably sweet. I can't wait to see her.  I know I will have to go back down once Bella comes home, some time in May. I took her  her some tiny new-puppy-sized prezzies:).  She is small enough to fit on Stephanie's hand. Love her dark little smooshed-in face.

I see how quickly it becomes all about the baby - Gord didn't even get Steph's head

Steph's smile says it all - this is the smile she has when she is totally,

knock-your-socks-off happy!

So tiny and helpless. So adorably sweet. And soon their eyes will open, they'll start clambering and tottering about and it will just be too enchanting for words. Sigh.

I had been gathering baby clothes. But am quite happy to switch gears

and pick up tiny pink puppy kongs, tiny balls and teensy stuffies!
