For today, let me draw back
into my quiet rooms.
Let the bullying and bluster, the lies and the "spin"
go on, outside my protected borders,
where I let no toxins in,

shaking my head at the wilful delusion
of those who have abandoned
all conscience and integrity.

We are seeing examples of abuse of power that we never thought we would see in North America. Meanwhile, the 2026 Super El Nino is projected to be the strongest in 150 years, with considerable impact including food shortages, drought, wildfires, and extreme weather events in an already heated climate system. Yes, it is really Mother Earth that holds the power. They are doing their best to destroy it with air pollution and water pollution and allowing more toxic chemicals again! Mother Earth will survive us all, and all the falsely powerful people will be destroyed with the rest of us.
