Hi kids, I am rather challenged at the moment - felled by an attack of my occasional vertigo, which hits when I work too hard. The cure is to lie down for a week or so until it passes, but wouldnt you know, I am looking after a four year old at his house for two weeks, while his mom is in Hawaii. This makes it tricky. I am going back and forth between both houses, as there are animals needing me in both places. So I only have access to my computer through the middle of each day.
It is a fine dance trying to do what is needed without tipping over into worse dizziness. As you know, it doesnt take long to get dismayingly behind on-line. I will do what I can, and I apologize for the shortfall! All will be well, this, too, shall pass and I will be back in the fray again.
Meanwhile, be well. I will get around to you all as I am able to, if only in little bits:)
I keep meclizine at home! Universe needs you to mellow for her balance right now. Bless you
ReplyDeleteAloha

If there is someone you can call for help, please do--even the Mom! Sherry, the danger of a misstep back and forth is not worth it right now. Please take care and be well. I am holding you and your young charge in the Light as you do what you need to do. We can wait.
ReplyDeleteHey--Sherry--so hard to hear about this. I have had attacks of vertigo before -- not too much recently, thank god. In my case, it was an ear problem. It can be so debilitating. I found that drinking a great deal of water, and taking meclazine (sold as Bonine) helped, or taking tons of ginger. It is awful. Mine had to do with some kind of fluid balance in the ear. So sorry. k.
ReplyDeleteOh Sherry, I hope this passes soon. I have not had this happen, but I have had friends who have. Take care of yourself first kiddo! Everything else will still be there later--we will aall be sending you good thoughts!
ReplyDeleteSherry - the most important thing is your health and the safety of the four year old. Please be careful. I know I speak for all of us - we want you to be well. We'll be here waiting as long as it takes. And if you don't get to read my blog, please don't worry. I know you will as soon as you can. Just take good care. My good thoughts go out to you.
ReplyDeletetake care of yourself Sherry...

ReplyDeleteSorry you are having trouble. I've been there. I hope it passes soon. After my last vertigo attack, which really hit me hard, I did a lot of research. It was suggested that caffeine could contribute to it. I have not had caffeine since (over a year now), and I have not had an attack since. Might be worth a try. Feel better, my friend.
ReplyDeleteFeel better, Sherry.
ReplyDeletePlease take care, we need our Wild Woman happy and healthy.
ReplyDeleteplease do take care of yourself Sherry and get well soon.....
ReplyDeletepeace and a steady horizon, Sherry ~

ReplyDeleteSherry, I hope it doesn't last long. That has to be totally unnerving. By the way - I love Pup - what a sweetie!
