How Wolves Change Rivers
This is a visually beautiful and fascinating description, narrated by George Monbiot, of the trophic cascade effect caused by the re-introduction of wolves into Yellowstone National Park - how the wolves changed the rivers and landscape of the area by their presence. Really cool.

what a haunting sound those opening songs they howl in this....we are not connected now are we? smiles.
ReplyDeleteas we know, mi amiga, when a wolf howls it is echoing the cry of Nature. this is why sometimes the howl of the wolf is eeirie to some but to those who listen closely it is a penetrating call from Nature.
ReplyDeletegracias for sharing this wonderful and much needed educational narrative for some
This is such an enriching experience....I think I'm beginning to love the wolves....
ReplyDeleteI remember that Kenia Cris had shared this too. I should show this video to my classmates :)
ReplyDeleteProof that nature knows what it's doing. Wish we humans were all ecological engineers.
