No Words

My spirit stands, mute and still,
in the face of the nightly news,
as if we are at the very lip
of the precipice.
As, indeed, we are.

Which way will we topple?
I pray, towards peace.

  3. "the lip of the precipice" is probably one of the most beautiful lines I've read in a long time. Thanks.

It does not matter which way we topple we just do our part. Truly said Sherry!
