Cloaked Hearts

I wear the cloak they have draped me in.
I bow my head under their darkness
and mouth the words they make me say.
I do as I am told. I act compliant.
But in my soul is only
the hope of
freedom.

    we do what we have to in the public eye...but in our hearts we know our true feel...and when the opportunity strikes, so can we.
