Taylor Arm

Today we took all the dogs to Taylor Arm
for their first swim
of the season.

It's a tranquil spot, especially
this early in the year.

I love the look
of these old trees.

Jasmine becomes obsessed with possessing whatever
kong, or stick, is being thrown.
I have to remind her she is a golden retriever,
not a golden receiver.

The tussle over the stick goes on
until Lukey gives up and lets go.

Lori and the dogs played tag
among the trees.

Then home for a much-needed rest.

  5. So cute, playing tugga with her brother, and even cuter napping afterwards!

  6. What a wonderful day, Sherry.
Lindy is asleep behind me now, and I can look back and forth from Jasmine's photo to Lindy and the resemblance is indeed astonishing.
I'm looking forward to taking Lindy swimming. We have a river here, and although it looks pokey-slow by BC standards, it moves fast enough to give a lazy dog a good battle, so we'll have to find a lake.

  9. That looks like so much fun. Jasmine obviously thought so too. And you had some time to play. That's awesome.

  13. Ha ha. So you had to do the reminding of Jasmine being a golden retriever, not a golden receiver? Love that.
