How Wild Woman Rolls

Wild Woman reflects;
she could wake up New Year's Day
totally motivated
to address the Many Important Chores
on her To Do List:
like, make hard copies
of all the poems on her site,
put together a few Lulu books,
finally edit that book in the cupboard
so it can be sent somewhere,
get caught up on visiting blogs,
and, while she's at it,
make more productive use
of daylight hours,
perhaps washing the windows
and, incidentally, the car,
and cleaning out the garage.

But that's not how
Wild Woman rolls.

  1. Wild Woman needs to stir her soul, with words, long walks and her favorite tea. If those don't nourish her spirit, her photo album will filled with cherished memories~

  2. I roll the same way, too, although I mostly roll not at all.
    Take care of yourself.

  5. One day at a time. One task at a time. I too have my shoulds and know I will get to them when ready. So will you.

  6. My dear! Young lady! Can you feel that ... 60 lashes with the wet noodle? ;) I do worry about the loss of your poems. If you don't have a back up system ... how about a 4GB thumb drive upon which to put your poems? I wish you my dear friend many blessings for this new year.
