Pantoum for Peace

Inspired by Ms. Jasmine :-)

The world is our energy made manifest
Be responsible for the energy you bring
Be responsible for the energy you allow into your space
Avoid all volatile and fractious beings

Be responsible for the energy you bring
Let there be peace and let it begin with me
Avoid all volatile and fractious beings
Be the change you wish to see in the world

Let there be peace and let it begin with me
You dont attract what you want - you attract what you are
Be the change you wish to see in the world
The law of compassion applies to every living being, even you

You dont attract what you want, you attract what you are
Another world is right now on its way
The law of compassion applies to all beings, even you
Remember, always, that Peace is Possible

Another world is right now on its way
Be responsible for the energy you allow
Remember, always, that Peace is Possible
The world is our energy made manifest

  1. The repetition of a pantoum allows you to really drive your message home.

  2. Your strong message is very effective in pantoum form, Sherry.

  3. Wonderful, Sherry.
I love the photo of Jasmine. I really miss Lindy, but I'm having a lovely time visiting with a friend on the amazing Oregon coast. The ocean here would be like yours on the west coast of the Island -- as far as the eye can see, with amazing waves in between.

  4. Beautiful poem, Sherry. And I can see that Miss Jasmine knows how to relax, something many humans could learn from.

  5. YES! A lovely poem in a lovely form. Your message is loud and clear, sister, and you know I'm in the "Amen corner"! Thanks for the reminder. Peace, Amy

  6. I don't feel much like poetry today. I think that I will just cuddle up with Jasmine, she looks so warm and snuggly.

  8. So true, I agree with every word - peace is possible, but it begins with me. Love the repetition (so necessary!), and that you give credit to Jasmine for inspiring the poem - our animal friends have much to tell us, and they tell us straight if we listen, as you do.
