Running Free

I picture you
running along
that farther shore,
joyous and free,
and wish I
could walk there
with you
one more time,
just
once more
see you
running
back to me.

  1. This is my dream, except there's no one there. You are a wonderful poet. I love where you live.

  2. Sherry,
A tribute to, 'My Boy Pup', I believe.
Your loss is still very evident within your words.
I noticed a sweet new puppy face on your Home page Sherry!
    Best Sunday Wishes,
    Eileen

  4. Thank you for giving words to all those voices unable to speak their grief. This is beautiful.

  5. Wolves are amazing and I'm sure Pup was too. He will always be there with you for, like the son I lost, his spirit is always within reach - just out of sight. I too love the wilderness but on a smaller scale here in the North York Moors of Northern England
