Strange World

On the news this morning, they informed us
North Americans spend 8 BILLION dollars
on Hallowe'en.

I can't help but think how many people
in the Third World we could feed
with that much money.

We are an odd species.

  4. Sherry, I have thought the same about all of the political ads that have been on television and all the political ads I have received in the mail. Surely there could have been better use for all this money.

  10. I don't think it's so much being odd as being purely selfish, Sherry.
